There are two types of referrals and ways of getting them:
Direct referral: This user registered using your username as their referrer or registered thru your banner.
Rented referral: You rented them. You either invest money or use your balance earned to rent them. these are the people that joined the program without a referrer.

Let us use Neobux for example.
You click 4 ads a day and one ad is $.01 so you make $.04 from the 4 ads you click.
You also get commission if your referral also click on ads. For a Standard member they get $.005 per referral ad click.
If your referral also click 4 ads you get additional income of $.02. So you make $.06 in one day. How about if you have 50 referrals? Lets do the Math.
You click 4 ads = $.04
50 referrals also click 4 ads = $1
Total = $1.04 in one day
$1.04 x 30 = $31.2 extra income in 1 month.
You can earn $31.2 per month in Neobux alone. But what if, you also have 50 referrals in your 4 other PTC sites.
